Konstantinos Sioumpouras graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed the postgraduate programmes in “Bioethics” at the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace, and in “Clinical Ergospirometry, Exercise, Advanced Technology and Rehabilitation” at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
His research interests, which mainly focus on the rehabilitation of patients with neurological diseases, stimulated him to investigate, at doctoral level, the needs of patients with Stroke from a rehabilitation program, encouraging them to participate in decision making and planning of the treatment protocol.
His research has been presented and published in conferences through e-posters and oral presentations. Along with his studies and research activity, Konstantinos Sioumpouras has been working as a journalist for more than 23 and as Data Protection Officer (DPO) for 5 years. Currently, he is the DPO and the head of the News department of the radio station “Athens 9.84”.
